Welcome!

Blogging is something I have been wanting to start for a long time now, and yet I still have no idea where to “start”. I guess I’ll start with hello.

Welcome to my unorganized, scatter-brained repository of all the things I’m planning or coordinating. Many posts will be dedicated to my wedding (May 2019) or parties (birthday, holidays, etc.) I host. I may also sprinkle in some crafty projects or travel guides. I guess we will have to wait and see when inspiration strikes and what comes out of it!

This blog, though public, will most likely only ever be seen by me and close friends or family, and I’m absolutely okay with that. This isn’t a project I’m doing for others as much as it’s a challenge I am giving myself. I want to inspire myself to be a bit more creative, and this seems like the perfect medium to do so. It will also be a handy site for me to show others if they ask how I made something or where I came up with an idea. There’s a good chance that’s never asked, but once again, that is a-okay.

I created this site a few weeks back, and I am just now getting around to writing a post. Hopefully I’m less sporadic in the future, and I can come up with a rhythm for writing posts to keep the blog fresh and useful. A friend of mine suggested that I write out posts ahead of time and post one every week or so. I like that idea, but maybe I can be a little more frequent than that. #bloggoals

If anyone is actually reading this, thank you for taking the time to do so!  Feel free to give me feedback on the blog or suggestions of anything specific you’d like to see in my posts through the comment section.
